What is this Blog about?

I am currently exploring the value of developing the concept the Bridge and other related sites as a free public resource, and writing a series of ebooks on the subject .. while exploring/researching it as a Post Grad and designing various complimentary software tools...
In this blog I explore techniques I have collected and developed for a social network space for people to Explore the bridge between Creative flow and Rational Thought".

"From the point of view of the larger planet, we proceed with an awareness that the whole system is far too complex or us to actually manage or control ....remember its a system that gave birth to us, so how then are we to interact in a way that is fruitfull?"

"Many of us have been trained perceive randomness as nothing but entropy, background 'noise' to be ignored, much as we are taught to treat the commons, yet the commons is the shared foundation of life...

The capacity to solve our problems is available , we are not goods in the hands of politicians and bankers...

Spiral-Art

(This type of art is based on synthesis/dialectic and could be construed in a romantic context)

Spiral Art

The method involves drawing random curves
with left and right hand (or yourself and partner)
connecting points placed randomly on the page
concentrating on a "trinity" that fits your belief system
eg  representing  for example:

  • mother - father (self)

  • yin-yang (whole)

  • earth - sun (universe/life)

  • DNA/RNA(doublehelix)
the trinity used could be from a religious source :

  • hindu goddess-god (chackra)
for example

then concentrating on the space where/when they are in union (the heart / 3rd part of trinity)
and randomly filling the spaces with colours/shades*

*This can be developed by placing dots on the page randomly while concentrating on the aspects chosen and connecting them
with curves

Sculpture
I used the  same  method as above with clay rolls to make ceramic sculptures...
then contemplated them from different angles until I found
 this hug....

then developed them...so far into these forms

 also  garden sculptures
  in wood and ceramic

A ceramic garden bird bath...
